How can you give marks for MI?

If you haven't seen the video yet, check it out here: Marking for MI

I find using rubrics to be the fastest, easiest and clearest way to mark. It helps the students know where they fell short and where they did really well. Whether students are completing worksheets, presentations, labs or extension activities, MI learning gives the choice for students to express their ideas through an ideal medium. Marking can be as simple as assigning an overarching question, a series of requirements or a set of rules of follow.

Is lesson planning for MI a lot of work?

Well, it depends on the subject, style, and method. Pinwheel activities can be quick to make while staying on topic for the lesson. Folder activities are more involved as each folder deals with a specific intelligence. The hardest stage of the planning process is getting the ball rolling and gathering materials necessary for each lesson.  For more info, check out my video here: Marking for MI
